3 Week Yoga Retreat

Yoga Retreat

Tomorrow is Day 1 of my Yoga Retreat. You can join the group on Facebook if you are interested.

The program is led by 4 different yoga experts. It is great for those already familiar with yoga to review the basics and it is also perfect for someone who is new to yoga.

I first started practicing yoga about 5 years ago and was amazed at how helpful yoga was. I wish I would have realized all the benefits of yoga sooner.  Yoga can help:

  • Increase flexibility
  • Reduce stress
  • Improve strength
  • Increase confidence
  • Improve balance
  • Enhance posture

Need I go on? Basically it’s all about building your core. A strong muscular core helps support your bones and can help prevent injury as well.

It’s hard to believe that it was just a year ago that I officially embarked on becoming a health & nutrition coach.  I was my first client. All the same nutrition and fitness ideas that I share have worked personally in improving my own health. Now I have had time to see my coaching work for others as well. It’s weird realizing that seeing those I coach improve their health further inspires me to stay on course with my own health.

Tomorrow starts my Yoga Retreat… then after that I will run a 12 week Tis The Season To Be Awesome free online accountability group on Facebook to carry us into the new year!

Even though I have been having fun with my new workouts, I still find myself once in a while getting out my tried and true DVDs that I have had forever. What can I say? It’s gets a little easier to do the workouts when you know what’s coming up.

I can’t wait to dive into a refreshing Yoga Retreat!

What is your favorite way to build your core?
