Can Tuna Salad Taste Good Without Tuna?
The answer is yes, yes, absolutely, Yes!
Tuna Salad without tuna tastes delicious, but I’m not sure if we can still call it tuna salad since it is missing the tuna 😀
I like to fix this tuna-less salad about once a week to have in the fridge to use for a snack, lunch or dinner.

All you need is:
1 can of chickpeas smashed with a fork or rough chopped in a food processor
1/2 cup oatmilk nondairy yogurt
2/3 cup small diced red onion
2/3 cup small diced celery
1/4 cup small diced pickle
salt & pepper to taste
2 cloves of minced garlic (optional)
1 Tablespoon of dried seaweed (optional) soak in water for about 5 minutes to rehydrate
Stir all the ingredients together in a bowl. It works great as an afternoon snack on a cucumber slice with capers on top. I also like it on a pita or rye bread with lettuce for lunch. Try it and see if you think It tastes good without the tuna too!

Enjoy!
